Amanda Young is a seasoned adult learning and development professional. She is enthusiastically dedicated to helping people to unlock their full learning and performance potential, and demonstrates a hands-on and adaptable approach to training. With over a decade of experience developing and implementing adult learning principles in various training environments, Amanda possesses comprehensive knowledge and expertise in both online and offline delivery methods. Amanda has pursued educational excellence throughout her career, earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Old Dominion University, and a Master of Arts in Workplace Learning - Adult Education from Texas State University. Her diverse and impressive resume includes a variety of experiences in higher education, military, and corporate contexts. Amanda has served in various instructional design roles, including Instructional Design Supervisor at The Home Depot, Instructor at Texas State University, and Technical Trainer/Instructional Designer at Harte Hanks. Amanda has also worked as a Training Coordinator at Keurig Green Mountain and an Instructional System Specialist at Austin Community College. Prior to her career in adult training, Amanda served as an Avionics Technician in the United States Navy.
