Amanda Byrd

Amanda "Andie" Byrd is a nonprofit development and communications expert with over two decades of experience. She has raised over $80 million to advance equity and justice for California families. Byrd is currently the Vice President, Membership & Sustainability at Southern California Grantmakers, where she serves more than 300 foundations, companies, and government funders. Under her leadership, the organization has achieved its highest membership, staff, and budget in its 45-year history. She is a proven leader in fundraising, communications, and partnership building. Byrd has notable experience in poverty alleviation, microfinance, job training and placement, and racial justice. She holds an A.B. with honors from Harvard College and has studied leadership at Southern California Leadership Network.
