Amanda Allard

Amanda Allard is currently the Assistant Director at the National Children's Bureau (NCB) and also serves as the Strategic Director of Practice and Programmes. With over 30 years of experience in children's policy, she has worked extensively as both a researcher and campaigner, contributing to various organizations, including The Children's Society and NCH (now Action for Children) before her roles at NCB.13

In her position at NCB, Amanda focuses on enhancing practices and programs that support children's well-being and development. She has been recognized for her leadership in non-profit organization management, showcasing a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people, particularly those with disabilities.2 Additionally, she has recently taken on the role of Director of the Council for Disabled Children, further emphasizing her dedication to advocacy in this area.34
