Alyssa Farrelly, also known as Alyssa Heath, is the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Social Impact at Fire Capital Management (FCM), a role she has held since January 2019. In her position, she focuses on supporting high-net-worth (HNW) clients, family offices, and foundations in making impactful investments and philanthropic contributions that align with their values.13
Background and Experience
Before joining FCM, Alyssa served as the Executive Director of the Golden Bridges Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Beijing. Her experience also includes working as a Business Development Manager for a travel startup in China and co-founding an initiative aimed at promoting mindful fitness solutions across various sectors, including schools and companies. Additionally, she was the Chapter President for the American University Beijing Alumni Club for six years and participated as a Global Shaper, an initiative by the World Economic Forum.12
Education
Alyssa holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Chinese from American University. She is fluent in both Mandarin and Japanese and is working towards obtaining the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation.1
Current Initiatives
At Fire Capital Management, Alyssa oversees operations and impact initiatives, ensuring that clients can effectively navigate their philanthropic goals while optimizing their investment strategies.14 She is also a board member of the International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy (AiP).1
