Allister Eveleigh, a mergers and acquisitions accounting expert, has decades of experience in the finance industry. He previously managed Verizon's Latin American Finance organization, where he was accountable for financial reporting, budgeting, compliance management, and strategic planning. Additionally, Eveleigh handled technical accounting compliance and reviewed implications of new U.S. GAAP or IFRS standards. In his current role, he is responsible for M&A accounting and financial statements of internal strategic transactions including potential divestitures and spin-offs. Eveleigh also handles pre-acquisition due diligence, Verizon's recent acquisition of AOL Inc. being one. He studied at the University of Cape Town and the Emory University-Goizueta Business School, where he graduated with honors. He is a former Manager at Verizon Business and Ernst & Young.
