Alison Malisa

Alison Malisa is a multi-lingual professional educator with a BA in Global Studies and Spanish, and an MSc in Public Health, specializing in multicultural sustainable development and behavioral economics in fields like education, agriculture, economics, and public health. With over twenty years of experience, Alison has a strong cross-cultural competency and fluency in English, Spanish, Swahili, and intermediate proficiency in French. She has a passion for applying design-thinking to tackle economic regeneration and enhance emotional wellbeing globally.

Alison's experience includes developing and implementing training programs, conducting qualitative research, coordinating complex projects across multiple languages and time zones, and organizing conference events. She excels in non-violent communication, cross-cultural communication, curriculum and program design, research, grant writing, and strategic planning for non-profits. Alison's expertise also includes addressing gender disparities in health and financial security, permaculture design, public speaking, and leadership training.

Alison Malisa holds an MSc in Public Health with a focus on International Sustainable Agriculture and a BA in Spanish Language and Literature and International/Global Studies. She has been associated with notable organizations like Prosocial Schools, Peace Profits, Sonoma Resource Conservation District, Hillcrest Middle School, the Peace Corps, and others, where she held roles ranging from educator to program manager to founder.
