She found her calling in 'Student Affairs' during graduate school, inspired by her mentors from Kenyon College where she also earned her B.A. in Psychology. Alison is dedicated to helping students discover their talents and skills, emphasizing accessibility, approachability, and non-judgmental support in her interactions. She is passionate about diversity, identity issues, and staying informed about current events.

    Throughout her career, Alison has worked on various student life aspects like orientation, leadership development, judicial affairs, academic advising, Title IX, alcohol education, residence life, disability services, tutoring, mental health services, and diversity education. Her dream of being a Class Dean allows her to provide personalized guidance to students while collaborating with faculty and staff to enhance student support. Proficient in professional growth, Alison is an active member of professional associations like NASPA, ACPA, and NACADA, holding regional advisory roles and engaging in leadership initiatives.
