Alicia Farhat, MPH, RD, LD
Alicia Farhat is a public health professional with a diverse career, having worked as a Nonprofit Director, a Clinical Dietitian in pediatrics, a Bilingual Health Educator, among other positions. She has experience managing teams and partnerships across sectors, and has a passion for improving public health, food systems, and nonprofit and business operations. Alicia's most recent role was as Program Director at Brighter Bites, where she successfully expanded the program's operations in Dallas, distributing over 7.6 million pounds of fresh produce to over 5,500 families across 28 sites. She has also worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Children's Medical Center, a Data Collector at Michael and Susan Dell Center for Healthy Living, among other roles. Alicia has a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences from Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College. She is now seeking new career opportunities to further her passion for public health and operations management.
