Alicia Blum-Ross

Alicia Blum-Ross is a professional who has a diverse background in academia, industry, and research focused on developing programs and products for children and families to engage and learn online.

She holds a BA in Anthropology and Film Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, a PhD in Anthropology, Education Studies, and Media Studies, and an M Phil in Anthropology from the University of Oxford.

In her career, she has held various roles including Public Policy Lead for Kids & Families at Google, Independent Research Consultant at ICT Coalition for Children Online, Research Officer at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and Strategy Consultant at BAFTA, among others.

Alicia Blum-Ross is also known for being the co-author of the book 'Parenting for a Digital Future: How Hopes and Fears about Technology Shape our Children's Lives' with Sonia Livingstone, to be published by Oxford University Press in 2020.
