Ali Wasti

Ali Wasti is a seasoned investor and technology executive with over two decades of experience in the industry. He is currently a Venture Partner at HPE Pathfinder at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he leads investments in data management, Artificial Intelligence, next-generation infrastructure, and IoT. Ali has also served as a Founding Partner at Massive, a Partner at Atami Capital, an investor in Lyft, Luma Health, Native Cos, VIDA & Co., and a member of the board at Eight.

Before his investment career, Ali spent more than ten years in senior leadership positions within engineering, product, and business development in data management and analytics. He led global business development for IBM's Information Management and Analytics software businesses and led product and engineering teams building relational databases and enterprise search products.

Ali is an MBA graduate from Harvard Business School, where he won the Venture Capital Investment Competition and was the CFO of the Venture Capital and Private Equity Club. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from McMaster University. Ali has served as the global chair of the HBS Alumni Angels Conference, part of the largest university-affiliated angel group globally, and provided venture capital investments to various companies.
