Liu Jiang is an investor and advisor with extensive experience in the venture capital industry, focusing on investments from the pre-seed to pre-IPO stages. He is currently involved in pre-seed and seed investing, supporting a wide range of companies such as AgentSync, Airplane, Cohere, Discord, and Vercel, among others.2 Liu Jiang was previously a partner at Sequoia Capital from 2015 to 2020, where he worked with companies like Athelas, Clay.run, and Temporal.23
He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Management Engineering from Stanford University, where he was recognized as the Henry Ford II Scholar and received the Frederick Emmons Terman Award.2 Liu Jiang is also the founder of Sunflower Capital, a venture fund that invests in infrastructure, data, machine learning, and developer tooling, among other areas.56
