Ali Rampurwala, CAIA

Ali Rampurwala, CAIA, is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate strategy, angel investing, and business development.

He holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, USA, and is a CAIA Charterholder. Ali also has a background in BE Computer Sciences from Pune Institute of Computer Technology.

Currently, he serves as the Head of Private Equity at Abu Dhabi Capital Group. Previously, Ali has held investment positions at well-known organizations like Grey (YCombinator W'22), Termii, acasa, MarketForceHQ, Duplo, Bundle, Millions, BigBrain, Raise, Syntegra, Arnie, Hedgehog, Dive, Attn: Grace, Kalendar AI, Upside, Ramped, WePlayed Sports, and Codingal.

Beside investment roles, Ali Rampurwala has prior experience as an Angel Investor and an Angel Fellowship ODA5 at On Deck. He has also worked in strategic planning and business development at Mazrui Holdings Company and Kuwait Financial Centre, focusing on oil & gas private equity and advisory. Additionally, Ali has held business development positions at Cambridge Technology Enterprises (CTE) and UBICS and was a Co-Founder of ACE Placement Services.
