Ali A. Gonzalez

Ali Gonzalez is an experienced culinary leader with a passion for creating innovative recipes and menus that drive profits. With a global culinary background, including knowledge of French, Nouvelle, Southern Cajun-Creole, and Italian cuisine as well as specialty food, such as pastries, ice sculptures and giant gingerbread houses, Ali has worked in a variety of culinary settings, including campus dining halls, retail restaurants, catering services, hotels, and culinary educational programs. Throughout her career, Ali has demonstrated excellence in utilizing strategic planning and budget administration to control food costs and increase profits. She has also excelled in mentoring, training, and building high-performing culinary teams.

Ali's accomplishments include being the winner of a Salon Award from the American Culinary Federation for the Palm Springs Food Competition and receiving the Honorable Chef Award from Biola University for going above and beyond in services. She also received recognition with the Culinary Excellence & Customer Service Award & Chef of the Year Award from Compass Group.

Ali studied a 16 Month Professional Chef Program at the California Culinary Academy. Currently, she is the Chief Executive Officer at New School of Cooking and has previously held positions such as Assistant Vice President/Program Strategist at CulinArt Managed Dining Services, Executive Chef at Compass Group LLC / Paramount Pictures, District Executive Chef at Compass Group LLC / Ford Motor Company, and District Executive Chef at Compass Group PLC / ABC Studios.
