Alexis Grant

Alexis Grant is a journalist, editor, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the content and media industry. She obtained a Bachelor's degree from Colby College and a Master's degree from Northwestern University. After working as a reporter for the Houston Chronicle and U.S. News & World Report, Grant founded a blog management company that was later acquired by The Penny Hoarder. During her four-year tenure, she served as the Executive Vice President of Content and played a crucial role in the brand's expansion, growing the audience to tens of millions of readers. In 2021, she sold her content company, The Write Life.

Today, Alexis is the Founder & CEO of They Got Acquired, a new media brand that focuses on featuring acquisitions of online businesses between $100K-$50M. Her mission is to redefine startup success by showcasing deals that are too small to be covered by mainstream tech publications but can be life-changing for founders.
