Alexis Baker

Alexis Baker is the Labor Relations Program Manager at the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities. In her role, she focuses on enhancing communication and collaboration between labor representatives and management, particularly in addressing operational challenges, such as those posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. She has been involved in facilitating discussions that aim to improve trust and unity among various employee groups and management within the organization.13

Before her current position, Baker served as a Labor Relations Specialist at the Metropolitan Council and has experience as a Human Resources Consultant at St. Paul Public Schools. She is passionate about engaging employees in their work and fostering a positive work environment.2
