Alexandre Souza

Alexandre Souza is the Coordinator of Startup SC, a Sebrae/SC project that has supported over 400 startups in Santa Catarina.

He has organized numerous editions of Startup Weekend and the Startup Summit, the main Sebrae event focusing on technology and innovation.

In 2018, he received the Startup Awards prize from Abstartups, being honored as the 'Hero of the Year' by the community for his dedication to the startup ecosystem.

With a background in Computer Science, Alexandre has a Postgraduate degree in IT Governance and Project Management.

He holds an MBA in IT Project Management from Estácio, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina, and an MBA in IT Governance from the Universidade Católica de Brasília.

Throughout his career, he has served as the Manager of the StartupSC Project at SEBRAE/SC, previously holding the position of CIO at SEBRAE/SC and working as a Systems Analyst at Plansul.
