Alexandre Galarneau-Micone is an experienced investment director at Axium Infrastructure with a diverse background in engineering, finance, and operations. He earned his B. Eng. in Chemical Engineering at the Université de Montréal - Ecole polytechnique de Montréal and his MBA at Cornell University - S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management. Prior to joining Axium Infrastructure, he worked at J.P. Morgan as an Associate - Investment Banking and as an Operations Engineer at Shell. His expertise in investment banking coupled with his experience in operations engineering has provided him with a unique skill set to navigate complex investments.
As Investment Director at Axium Infrastructure, he is responsible for leading the team in executing transactions from initial screening to financial close and managing relationships with investors. Some of his notable accomplishments include debt refinancing of two solar assets totaling over $300M, the acquisition of over 600MW of the wind portfolio in France and Germany, and transitioning Axium's transportation renewable energy portfolio to operational readiness.
