Alexandra Dixon
Alexandra Dixon holds a Master's degree in Conservation Biology from UCL and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Anthropology from Harvard University. She is a highly accomplished wildlife conservation professional with experience in project development, wildlife consultancy, and overseas directorship. Alexandra has undergone several roles in the sector, with her previous roles including Director of Conservation at Zoological Society of London, Overseas Director at Lewa Wildlife Conservancy; and Project Development Consultant for The Eden Project.
Currently, Alexandra is the Director of Special Projects at The Eden Project International, and she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role. As a wildlife consultant, she had worked with a variety of stakeholders, including private landowners, national park authorities, and the local community to develop land management plans to conserve and protect biodiversity. In her role at The Eden Project International, Alexandra leads and facilitates the development of essential projects and collaborations both locally and internationally that address significant environmental issues and celebrate the natural world to inspire and empower individuals to take action.
