Jacinta Spies is a community engagement consultant with a passion for travel, salsa dancing, and hiking. She studied Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) and Bachelor of International Studies (Journalism) at the University of Technology in Sydney, where she is currently a fifth-year student. During her studies, she spent a year abroad in Chile, traveling, hiking, and dancing. She then interned in Colombia with a North American PR company before returning to Australia on a New Colombo Plan scholarship. After completing her degree, she became a consultant in Sydney, focusing on community engagement for Australia's infrastructure.
Jacinta's skills include community engagement, stakeholder management, copywriting, and journalism. She has worked as a tour guide, a stakeholder engagement coordinator for a bushfire clean-up program, a community engagement consultant for a consulting firm, a PR intern, and a freelance copywriter and writer. Her interests include travel, hiking, salsa dancing, and improving communication skills.
