Dr. Alexander 'Sasha' Galitsky is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Almaz Capital, a renowned international venture fund based in Portola Valley, CA, with offices in Berlin, Kyiv, Warsaw, and other Central and Eastern European countries.

Almaz Capital, established in 2008 with backing from Cisco Systems, EBRD, and IFC, specializes in investing in disruptive deep tech companies in the B2B software space, particularly focusing on AI/ML, Blockchain applications, IoT, Edge Computing Enablers, and Cybersecurity.

Notable investments by Almaz Capital include successful ventures like Yandex, QIK, Sensity Systems, and Acumatica.

Dr. Galitsky has held board member positions in various organizations, including Virtuozzo, MegaFon, Octonion, Acronis, Petcube, StarWind Inc., Jelastic Multi-Cloud PaaS, and Acumatica. He has also been a partner at Russian Technologies and served on the advisory board of PGP Inc.
