Alexander Embiricos

Alexander Embiricos is the co-founder and CEO of Remotion, a virtual office platform designed to enhance collaboration among hybrid teams. He has been in this role since May 2019, focusing on creating a workspace that fosters casual interactions and effective communication among remote team members.125

Before founding Remotion, Embiricos worked as a Product Manager at Dropbox from July 2014 to December 2017. His background includes a strong academic foundation, having earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University.24

Embiricos has a diverse professional history that also includes roles at The Boston Consulting Group and Credit Suisse, as well as research positions during his studies at Stanford.23 His journey into technology began after a failed startup experience, which led him to explore the intersection of business and technology, ultimately resulting in the creation of Remotion during the COVID-19 pandemic.356

In addition to his professional achievements, Embiricos has an international background, having lived in various regions, including Asia, the Caribbean, and Switzerland, before moving to the United States for his education.3
