Alex Purtell

Alex Purtell is a seasoned professional in the startup world, with a diverse set of skills and experiences that have enabled him to be successful in multiple roles. Purtell is currently the Partner and Accelerator Director at Horizon Two Labs, where he oversees the development and growth of startup companies. Prior to joining Horizon Two Labs, Purtell was the Program Director at Fintech71, where he helped to develop and launch a program that would provide startup companies with the resources they need to succeed. Additionally, Purtell has held roles such as Accelerator Director at Lumos Innovation, Co-founder & CEO at Rekovo, and Digital Strategist + Project Manager at ZoCo Design.

Purtell has a background in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations, having studied at The Ohio State University. He has also worked in a variety of industries, including fashion as a Model at JackThreads and Home Office Development at Abercrombie & Fitch. In his spare time, Purtell enjoys drinking bourbon and is a self-proclaimed watch lover.
