    Alex Huang is a dedicated professional with a diverse background, currently working on Capitol Hill. With a Master of Arts in Educational Studies from the University of Michigan, Alex also studied Mandarin Chinese at the National Taiwan Normal University and holds a B.A. in International Studies, Spanish, and Music from the University of Michigan.

    Alex has a rich history of roles in the U.S. House of Representatives, including serving as the Legislative Director and holding positions as a Senior Legislative Assistant, Legislative Aide, Legislative Correspondent, and APAICS Legislative Fellow. Additionally, Alex has experience as the Director of Programs and Community Engagement at the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies.

    Prior to Capitol Hill, Alex was deeply involved in education, having worked as a 2nd-grade teacher through Teach For America. Alex's dedication to public service is further evident through previous internships at the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Alex also contributed to the field of education as a Media Assistant and Team Lead at LSA Instructional Support Services.

    Living life one day at a time, Alex Huang embraces an idealistic approach to making a difference, transitioning from a former Elementary school teacher to prominent roles in legislative and community engagement. With a strong educational foundation and a commitment to public service, Alex continues to impact and contribute to various spheres of influence.
