Alex Cornell

Alex Cornell is a multifaceted professional, excelling in interface design, filmmaking, and music. With a background spanning various renowned organizations like Facebook, Firespotter Labs, and Moonbase, Alex has been instrumental in the creation and launch of multiple successful products.

As a co-founder at Firespotter Labs, Alex played a pivotal role in the development and release of innovative products such as UberConference, Nosh, NoshList, and Jotly. His contributions as a creative director and design lead led to significant achievements like winning TC Disrupt in 2012 and gaining recognition in publications like the Wall Street Journal.

Transitioning from Firespotter Labs, Alex ventured into startup promo videos through Moonbase, showcasing his talent in visual storytelling and branding. Additionally, he honed his design skills under the mentorship of Scott Hansen (ISO50/Tycho) and leveraged his experiences to release a book in collaboration with Princeton Architectural Press.

Educationally, Alex pursued his passion by studying BFA in Psychology at Duke University, MFA in Graphic Design at the Academy of Art University, and Linguistics at the University of Otago.
