Alessio D'Amico

Alessio D'Amico is a Palermo-born and Florence-based Visual and UI&UX Designer. He has a passion for music, design, and architecture, and has been practicing photography for several years. In March 2015, he finished his studies in "Graphic Design e comunicazione di Impresa" with top honors at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo. During his studies, he created a project on a safe driving app that was published in various regional and national newspapers. He was selected as one of the 20 ideas and startups to participate in the BOOTSTRAP meeting in Pisa in 2016.

After his graduation, Alessio moved to Florence to pursue a Master's degree in "Graphic Design focused on New Media" in English. During this period, he worked on projects related to digital publishing, creative advertising, responsive design, social media marketing, and 3D printing, among others.

After completing his Master's degree, Alessio started working at VirtuItaly Srl, where he designed interfaces for touchscreen systems and mobile devices as a UX-UI Designer. He continued working for the company and worked on several projects related to web and mobile design, interaction design, audio/video editing, shooting photographs, and videos for clients such as Canon and Huawei.

Since March 2017, Alessio has been working as a Visual and UI Designer at Viralize, a startup affiliated with the Nana Bianca incubator in Florence that offers video advertising content for clients.
