Alejandro Gálvez

Alejandro Gálvez, the Co-founder of Sila, is an accomplished business leader, investor, and podcast host in the Latin American startup community. He has a Master's degree in Business & Technology from Collective Academy, and extensive training in Full Stack Developer, Web Development Bootcamp from Ironhack; Executive Program 2017, Exponential Technologies from Singularity University; Bachelor's degree, Derecho, from Universidad Anáhuac Mexico Norte; and LC1 Fellow, Entrepreneurship, and Entrepreneurial Studies from Latitud.

With Sila, Alejandro is providing a furniture and appliance rental service for 6, 9, and 12 months, which offers customers the flexibility to renew, change or buy furniture at the end of the contract. As an angel investor with over 40 investments in Latin America, he has invested in companies such as Grin, Fintual, Torre, Flat, Beek, Pronto, Yotepresto, and Picap.

Alejandro is also the host of Fundadores, a popular podcast where he interviews startup founders in Latin America. He was a Podcast Fellow at On Deck and served on the advisory board of Gap Metropolitana as well as the board of directors of Gap Inmobiliaria. Before pursuing these projects, he co-CEO'd the family business, Gálvez y Gálvez, and worked as a paralegal at Quijano, Cortina y De la Torre.
