Alec Walker is a seasoned executive in communication and collaboration technology with over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, account management, and product management for wireless and internet solutions. He has delivered innovative collaboration solutions for mobile operators, convergent service providers, mobile content providers, and enterprises. With a significant experience in both technical and business considerations in running a mobile content business, he is well-versed in business planning, partner management, project management, technical design, and development, and overall solution profitability.

Alec has worked with industry leaders such as Comcast, Verizon, Disney, AOL, ESPN, Reliance Communications (India), and Xerox Corporation. Before his current position as Director of Product Management at Cisco, Alec was the Senior Product Manager at Cisco, Senior Director Strategic Accounts at BroadSoft, Vice President of Strategic Accounts at mPortal, and Consultant at CSC.

Alec's specialties include account management, product management, project management, technical development, and mobile technologies. His technical skills encompass iOS, Android, HTML/JavaScript, C/C++, Node.js, Scripting Languages, and Agile tools/methodologies. His expertise in mobile technologies includes Mobile Analytics, WebRTC/SIP, Social/Cloud Integration, Beacon/Location Services, and Wearables/IoT. Alec studied for a Master's degree in English at the University of Virginia and earned his Bachelor's degree in English at Gustavus Adolphus College.
