Alana Buenrostro

Alana Buenrostro is an accomplished individual with a diverse academic background and extensive experience in the communications field. She studied Spanish at the Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Southwestern University in Texas. Additionally, she studied Spanish and Argentine History at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina in Buenos Aires. Alana now serves as Director of Corporate Giving and Partnerships at The World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, where she oversees partnerships with organizations across industries to promote international awareness and education. Previously, Alana served as Programs Manager at the same organization, and has also held positions as Director of Membership at the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Public Affairs Firm Intern at ROSS Communications.

Alana has a deep passion for promoting cultural exchange and understanding, which drives her work in the international relations field. She possesses strong organizational and leadership skills which she brings to her various roles, enabling her to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse groups of stakeholders. Her ability to speak Spanish fluently and her experience studying abroad have further enhanced her ability to navigate cross-cultural environments with ease.
