Alan Howe

Alan Howe is a seasoned business professional with a diverse background encompassing large corporations, financial institutions, start-ups, and turnarounds.

Currently, Alan is the Managing Partner of Broadband Initiatives, LLC, a boutique corporate advisory firm, specializing in providing board and executive leadership, particularly in small-cap and micro-cap companies facing turnaround situations.

Over the past decade, Alan has served on numerous public and private boards, including as Chairman in five instances. He currently holds board positions in companies like Data I/O, Babcock & Wilcox, Resonant, Sonim Technologies, and Orion Energy Systems.

Alan's previous roles include serving as Vice President of Strategic & Wireless Business Development at Covad Communications, CFO and VP of Corp Dev at Teletrac, and being part of the initial team at Sprint PCS.

Alan is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Business Administration and holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Indiana University. He also possesses Series 7 and Series 63 Securities licenses.

Throughout his career, Alan has held various leadership positions in organizations like Sunrise Telecom, Nextnav Llc, Spartacus Acquisition Corporation, Bowen Advisors, Jps Industries, Data I/O, Selectica, Ditech Networks, B. Riley Financial, and more.
