Akshat Thakur

Akshat Thakur is a dynamic individual with a passion for data science, computer science, statistics, writing, and entrepreneurship.

Having started his journey with a social networking website during high school, Akshat honed crucial skills like determination and resilience which he applied to successfully run a digital marketing strategy firm.

He then ventured into assisting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with digital and technical consulting, setting them up for success.

Akshat's experience includes being a Teaching Assistant in the Computer Science department at the University of British Columbia and currently working as a dedicated data analyst at CSI&C at UBC.

His educational background includes an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Heritage Xperiential Learning School in Gurgaon and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics with a focus on Computer Science from The University of British Columbia.

His involvement in various organizations such as being a Student Data Analyst at UBC Centre for Student Involvement & Careers, and holding positions like President at Graphical and Architectural Design Club at UBC, reflect his diverse skill set and interests.

Additionally, his previous roles as a Web Developer, Digital Marketing Consultant at TRAVEL TALES, and Co-Founder at Onenon Technologies demonstrate his versatility and entrepreneurial spirit.

As Akshat approaches graduation in December, he is eagerly looking forward to embarking on his professional journey, showcasing his expertise and enthusiasm in the fields he is passionate about.
