Akira Shishido

Dr. Akira Shishido is a distinguished medical professional with an impressive educational background. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) specializing in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease from Harvard Medical School. Prior to that, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biochemistry at Bowdoin College.

Dr. Shishido has held various key positions throughout his career. He worked as a Clinical Fellow at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he further honed his skills and knowledge in the medical field. Additionally, he served as an Associate Editor at the Journal of Special Operations Medicine (JSOM) under Breakaway Media, LLC. His experience extends to being a Battalion Surgeon at the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) in the US Army, providing medical support to military personnel. Earlier in his career, Dr. Shishido worked as a Medical Resident at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and as a Virology Technician at Thomas Jefferson University.
