    Dr. Rupert Kaul is an HIV clinician scientist known for his expertise in mucosal immunology and HIV transmission/immunopathogenesis.

    He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from The Open University and an MD, FRCP(C) in Internal Medicine with a specialization in Infectious Disease from the University of Toronto.

    Dr. Kaul serves as the Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Toronto and University Health Network.
