Akanksha Singh is a Software Engineer Intern at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where she focuses on developing innovative software solutions, particularly in the Asset and Wealth Management sector. Her journey into technology began with a strong influence from a high school teacher who encouraged her to explore computer programming. Although her undergraduate experience had its challenges, she found her passion through participating in hackathons starting in 2020. Notably, her first hackathon, HackJaipur, led to the development of a mental health app called Dost, which won accolades among numerous submissions. This success rekindled her confidence in her technical abilities and propelled her involvement in various hackathons, where she not only competed but also mentored others.3
In addition to her technical skills, Akanksha is dedicated to community building and mentorship. She has played significant roles in organizing hackathons and has been involved in initiatives that inspire young women to pursue careers in computer science. Through her YouTube channel, Coder Jedi, she provides resources and advice to the hacker community.3
Outside of her professional pursuits, Akanksha enjoys listening to 60s-70s Hindi music and visiting museums, reflecting her appreciation for art and history.1
