Ajay Sethi

Ajay Sethi is an experienced entrepreneur and venture capitalist who has had a varied career in the field of computer science, engineering, and product management. He studied computer science and engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and went on to obtain a Ph.D. in computer science from Rice University. Additionally, he holds a certificate in finance from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ajay has worked in several organizations, including Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, Oracle, and C-DAC and IIT Mumbai. He has also founded and served as the CEO of Ziva Software Private Limited, focused on location-based services, mobile, search, big data, and analytics. Additionally, he served as the COO of Ezetap Mobile Solutions Pvt. Ltd and later conceptualizing at Product Growth. He is currently a Venture Partner at Accel.

Ajay's areas of interest include startups, product management, go-to-market strategy, and business development. His earlier work focused on data warehousing, databases, distributed systems, SIMD/MIMD, parallel processing, compilers/interpreters, location-based services, geo, mobile, search, big data, and analytics. He is passionate about using technology to solve complex problems and help businesses grow.
