Ahmed Aizi

Ahmed Aizi is the Vice President of Operations at the EMSA English Medical Students' Association Cluj, a position he has held since June 2023. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating operations between various EMSA departments and the university, onboarding new projects, and developing medical education initiatives for students. His contributions also extend to legal and fundraising strategy development.1

Prior to his current role, Aizi served as the Head of Medical Education at EMSA from April 2022 to June 2023, where he led restructuring efforts in the department and implemented new educational strategies. He was also the Editor-in-Chief from November 2020 to April 2022, overseeing content creation and publication processes.1

In addition to his work with EMSA, Aizi has experience as a Neurological Surgery Intern at Spitalul Clinic Județean de Urgență Cluj-Napoca, where he gained significant operating room experience. He has also held roles such as Public Relations Officer for the International Surgical Congress for Students (SURGICON) and Manager of the Synapses Workgroup within NeurotechEU.1
