Ahmad Ashkar

Ahmad Ashkar has two decades of experience in both non-profit and for-profit sectors, and he is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of the Hult Prize Foundation. His leadership has helped graduate more than 2.1 million impact entrepreneurs from 121 countries and deploy $100 million in direct capital with indirect funding of $1B+. With a love for food, new experiences, and getting uncomfortable, Ahmad has traveled to over 100 countries and seen some of the best things the world has to offer. As the number one company in his sector, he oversees a global operation with offices across five continents, 100+ staff members, and 50,000 annual volunteers.

Ahmad is a recognized leader in the business world, having received many awards and honors, including being named as one of Gulf Business's 2019 Top 100 Worlds Most Powerful Arabs and GQ Magazine's 2018 Entrepreneur of the Year. He is also a rising food entrepreneur with two award-winning restaurant brands. As a board member for multiple companies, his favorite is the nonprofit ANERA, which is dedicated to improving the lives of refugees. Ahmad's book "The Pursuit of Impact" was published in April 2021.
