Ahmad Almahdi

Ahmad Almahdi is a highly qualified professional with expertise in Disaster Management, Quality and Safety Surveying, Health Promotion, and Occupational Safety. His background includes Infection Prevention and Control, Epidemiological Studies, Health Systems Evaluation, and Health Education.

With a focus on Health Informatics and IT, Ahmad has extensive experience in E-Health technologies such as Health Information Systems, Laboratory Information Systems, Electronic Medical Records, Electronic Health Records, and Artificial Intelligence. He is proficient in database management with Oracle 10g, MySQL, and MS Access, along with application development in PHP, ASP, and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010.

Additionally, Ahmad is a Certified Black Belt Lean Six Sigma (LSSBB) professional and a Project Management Professional (PMP). His role as a lecturer encompasses subjects like Safety, Total Quality Management, Six Sigma, Evidence-Based Medicine, and IT.

His specialties lie in Health Information Management, Data Mining and Analysis in the medical and health sectors, Process Improvement, Total Quality Management, and Medical Laboratory Technology.

Ahmad Almahdi's educational background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Continuous Quality Improvement and Patient Safety from Joint Commission International (JCI), an MSc in Health Informatics with distinction from the University of Otago, a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Informatics from the same institution, and a BSc in Medicine and Allied Sciences from Jamiat Al-Malik Abdulaziz.

He has been actively involved as a Volunteer Promoter in the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 Healthcare Quality of Life Program in 2020. In his previous roles, Ahmad has contributed to various organizations including the Saudi Ministry of Defense, King Fahad Military Hospital, King Abdulaziz Medical Services Department, Alhada Military Hospital, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, and King Khalid Specialist Hospital.

Among his roles, Ahmad has served as a Health Educator, Disaster Control Specialist, Coordinator for Infection Prevention and Control Committees, President & Co-Founder of the Saudi Students Club in New Zealand, and as a Senior Health Informatics, Quality & Safety Specialist. He has also been involved in coaching in Continuous Quality Improvement, Health & Safety, and Informatics.
