Aemelia Grounds is an international media and technology lawyer with a speciality in cross-border commercial, regulatory, and technology law in various industries across Asia Pacific. With a background in both in-house and private practice, she is adept at providing clear and commercial advice while protecting the interests of the companies she advises. Aemelia has worked with emerging and multinational technology firms in Asia Pacific and Europe, focusing on buying and selling technology assets, intellectual property protection, compliance programs, and organizational restructuring.

Her expertise extends to advising on commercial and regulatory matters, advertising and sponsorship agreements, media planning, marketing campaigns, and event management in the APAC region. Aemelia is fluent in Mandarin and is committed to delivering excellent work, helping stakeholders achieve their commercial goals, building sustainable businesses, and mentoring junior lawyers.

Aemelia Grounds holds a Bachelor of Creative Industries with a Distinction in Communication and Media Studies from Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours from the same institution, and has also studied Chinese Foreign Policy at The London School of Economics and Political Science. She has held legal positions at Volvo Car Group, Taylor Vinters, Reckitt Benckiser, and Holding Redlich, where she has honed her expertise in media, marketing, consumer products, and technology law.
