Greg Caplan is the co-founder and CEO of Spot Meetings, a platform designed to facilitate walking meetings and enhance remote work dynamics. The concept for Remote Year emerged from Caplan's own experiences struggling to coordinate travel with friends who had rigid work schedules.12
Caplan's entrepreneurial journey includes founding the fashion company oBaz, which was acquired by Groupon, where he worked until 2014. He has also served as the interim Chief Marketing Officer for Cameo since May 2020.12 He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.1
