Adriana Cunha

Adriana Cunha is a dedicated Project Manager with a keen interest in technology and innovation. She holds a background in Software Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science, which has shaped her proficient skills in project management.

Throughout her academic journey, Adriana engaged in various extracurricular activities that highlighted her aptitude for management, team coordination, and event planning, laying the foundation for her career in Project Management. She has actively participated in both national and international projects, contributing to planning, execution, and control.

Adriana excels in preparing project proposals on digital transformation, productive innovation, industry 4.0, waste recovery, and social innovation. She has led and coordinated interdisciplinary teams, including research and industry personnel. Her responsibilities have encompassed organizing and overseeing in-person and virtual meetings, as well as managing conferences and workshops to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.

In her recent role, Adriana has assumed Project Manager responsibilities at ADDHG - Guimarães Human Rights Defense Association, focusing on social and humanitarian projects.

Adriana's educational background includes a Master's degree in various fields such as Informatics Engineering, Project Management, Software Systems Engineering, Intelligent Systems, and Artificial Intelligence from Universidade do Minho. Additionally, she pursued studies in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Management, and Operations at the European Innovation Academy. She also holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering, Project Management, Requirements Engineering, Software Quality and Tests, and Data Mining from Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão - Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universidade do Minho.

Adriana's professional experience spans across different renowned organizations. She has served as a Project Manager at CeNTI - Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials, UNINOVA, and ADDHG. Moreover, Adriana has worked as an independent consultant focusing on Industry 4.0 and ICT. She held positions such as R&D Coordinator, Project Manager, Technology Transfer Officer at TecMinho. Additionally, she co-founded Cloud Prophet and assumed roles like Business Manager and Project Manager.

Her involvement in academic associations like NECC and GEMCC showcases her leadership skills, where she served in various roles like CFO, CEO, Treasurer, and Secretary of Executive Officer.
