Adam Coates

Adam Coates is a seasoned sales and marketing executive, brand builder, and innovator with more than ten years of experience in regulated consumer-packaged good sales, marketing, and business development. Currently serving as the Chief Growth Officer at Decibel Cannabis Company, a publicly traded, vertically integrated premium cannabis company, Adam leads all corporate, retail, and product marketing initiatives, sales, and commercial strategy. He's also the president of the company's award-winning retail business, Prairie Records, and is known for building high-performing teams that deliver significant business growth.

Before joining Decibel Cannabis Company, Adam served as Vice President of Specialty Sales at Labatt Breweries of Canada, where he was responsible for generating over $70 million in revenue and overall volume and revenue growth in eight major Canadian urban centers. He also led the business integration and brand expansion for the acquisitions of Mill Street Brewery and Mark Anthony Brands. Adam studied Business Administration at The University of Western Ontario - Richard Ivey School of Business and Management and Organizational Studies at Huron University.
