Adam Chekroud

Adam Chekroud is the Co-Founder and President of Spring Health, a mental health company based in New York City.14 He is also an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University.23

Chekroud's background is in neuroscience and psychology. He received his BA in Experimental Psychology and MSc in Neuroscience from Oxford University, followed by a PhD in Psychology from Yale University.2 His research focuses on improving treatment outcomes in mental health, particularly depression, using large datasets and predictive models.2

Spring Health, co-founded by Chekroud, partners with large organizations and health plans to provide mental health care to employees and members.4 The company uses AI-powered technology to match patients with care providers.4 As of July 2024, Spring Health was valued at $3.3 billion after raising a $100 million Series E round.4
