Connected was seed funded by Trinity Ventures, 500 Startups, Ignition Partners, Christopher Michel, Michael Hoydich, and Mark Gray in June 2011.

Connected was acquired in October 2011 by LinkedIn and relaunched in April 2013 as the new LinkedIn Contacts.

Key products I launched and grew included MochiAds (ad network for Flash game developers), MochiCoins (micro-transactions and virtual currency platform) and MochiGames (consumer games portal). I also founded Flash Gaming Summit, an annual conference for the Flash games industry that attracted 500+ studios and brands each year.

Mochi Media was the world's largest browser-based games network, with more than 150 million monthly active users and 15,000 games on nearly 40,000 publisher websites. In June 2009, Mochi Media was recognized by comScore as the No. 1 online games property in the world and eighth largest in U.S. reach.

Mochi provided tools for game developers to distribute their games as well as monetize them through advertising and micro-transactions.
