Abrar Chaudhury is a distinguished Research Fellow, British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow, and Program Director at the prestigious Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. With over 20 years of experience in technology, consulting, and research contexts across continents and sectors, Chaudhury is a global professional working closely with governments, funders, private sectors, and research institutions to translate research into practical solutions that address global environmental change, climate finance, policy implementation, corporate purpose, and sustainable development.
Chaudhury has several degrees and certifications, including a PhD in Environmental Change and Management, MSc in Environmental Management with distinction, an MBA in Impact, Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Fellow Chartered Accountant in accounting. Chaudhury's extensive fieldwork in Asian and African countries such as Ghana, Nepal, and Pakistan, has given him deep insights into the organizational and network challenges of implementing and delivering climate change adaptation policy in emerging economies.
As a teacher and Program Director, Chaudhury contributes to Oxford programs on the MBA, EMBA, and Executive Education, teaching on speciality electives on global challenges, futures, governance, and innovation.
