Abhishek Tiwari

Abhishek Tiwari is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in building and leading cross-functional engineering teams for top tech companies. He is currently the Vice President of Apache Gobblin at The Apache Software Foundation and has previously held managerial positions at companies such as LinkedIn, Amazon Web Services, Nuance Communications, and Yahoo.

Abhishek has a background in Computer Science, having studied at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. He has worked on various projects ranging from building an AWS service, creating a platform for Watson supercomputer, and developing Hadoop infrastructure at Yahoo. Abhishek is also highly skilled in analytics for bioinformatics and full-stack web architecture, having worked at AOL.

As the Vice President of Apache Gobblin, Abhishek leads the cross-functional team that builds and supports the compute orchestration platform on top of async infrastructures such as Hadoop, Spark, Tensorflow, Hive, Pig, and more. The platform powers all of LinkedIn's large scale analytics and artificial intelligence workloads.
