Abhay Tewari is a seasoned product management and operations executive with a passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving. With a background in mechanical engineering and industrial and systems engineering, he went on to obtain an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. After several years of excelling as a New Product Operations Leader for Apple and as a senior systems analyst and consultant for Washington Mutual Bank and Stirling Systems Group, respectively, Abhay co-founded Sumbon, a philanthropic organization aimed at helping people to easily and affordably donate to charitable causes.

As CEO of Sumbon, he focused on building a new product in an area beyond his expertise, tapping into his team's synergies and refining their value proposition. Though the initial iteration was off the mark, they iterated and honed their product, eventually landing on something that's now running in self-sustaining mode.

Currently, Abhay is working as a senior manager in product operations at Amazon Lab126, helping bring Alexa-enabled products to market. He is passionate about his work, and inspired by the vast roadmap of products at Amazon, he is still looking for opportunities to contribute at a higher level with a smaller company or startup.
