Abby Watson

Abby Watson is a highly educated and experienced social worker, who has held a variety of positions in social services, nonprofits, and the private sector. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University and has since gained significant experience in the field. Abby has served as a UX Research Analyst at Viacom, a Communications and Development Volunteer at Zenman Energy, and a Family Services Administrative Assistant at the Department of Social Services-Shenandoah County. Additionally, she has worked in policy development as an intern at the Department of Social Services-Shenandoah County and as a National Association of Social Workers Program Consultant at James Madison University-Department of Social Work. Through her previous employment, Abby has honed skills in communication, research, event planning, and advocacy. She is an experienced resident advisor and director of special events at the university level. Abby's social work experience has provided her with deep insights into the challenges facing the communities she serves.
