Aaron Douglas

Aaron Douglas is an Engineering & Product Lead at Automattic, specializing in WooCommerce Mobile. He is also an author for rwenderlich, an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, identifies with ADHD, and is a remote worker. In his free time, Aaron enjoys running, camping, and occasionally working as a DJ. He prefers he/him/his pronouns.

Aaron's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Carroll University, another Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College, and a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Carroll University.

Aaron has held various positions in different organizations. Currently, he is with Mobile Muse at Automattic. Previously, he served as a Mobile Software Architect at Red Arrow Labs and worked as a Consultant for FedEx SmartPost, ManpowerGroup, C&H Distributors, Manpower Inc., Brookdale Senior Living, Stark Investments, Safway Services, among others. Additionally, he was an Adjunct Faculty Member at Carroll University.

Throughout his career, Aaron Douglas has accumulated a wealth of experience, from Senior Software Engineer and Consultant roles to Software Engineer and Decision Support Analyst positions at renowned companies such as Centare Group, Red Arrow Labs, FedEx, and IBM.
