Reid Klarsfeld

Reid Klarsfeld, a Senior Software Engineer at Codesmith, has always been passionate about solving puzzles, a trait that earned him the nickname 'The Puzzle Whiz' in pre-k.

Starting his coding journey with HTML in middle school, Reid progressed to mastering various technologies like JavaScript, React, Node.js, SQL, and noSQL, building full-stack applications and honing his skills.

Currently, Reid is involved in implementing a testing suite at Codesmith, using Jest/Enzyme/SuperTest to ensure data accuracy, quicker debugging, and seamless deployments through CI/CD.

Beyond work, Reid remains active in the open-source community, developing applications that blend his love for coding with creativity, logic, and organization.

With a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University, Reid's technical expertise spans JavaScript, React, Node.js, Redux, TDD, HTML, CSS, and jQuery, showcasing his proficiency in a wide array of technologies.

Reid has contributed to various projects like StateFlex, an innovative tool for React developers, and has shared his knowledge through talks and publications, discussing topics such as Test Driven Development and preventing Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
