Gregory Bolkenstijn

Gregory Bolkenstijn is a seasoned web developer with over 10 years of experience designing and building websites and web applications. He is the owner of Sound of Silver, a digital agency that creates beautiful and interactive digital projects for a diverse range of clients. Gregory has worked for major companies such as NTR, Kaliber Interactive, and LeasePlan Digital, as well as smaller creative start-ups.

Gregory specializes in building reusable design systems and component libraries for long-term projects or collaborations, which allows him to create high-quality user interfaces (UI) in a modular and efficient way. His current stack includes Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Framer Motion, as well as Tailwind CSS, PostCSS, and Webpack.

He has worked on a variety of projects, including npokennis.nl, ADE Online, portal.zoncoalitie.nl, flawedbrand.com, basvandepoel.com, and plant22.co. Gregory's expertise also includes animation and interactive development using tools such as anime.js and Greensock, as well as headless CMS platforms such as Contentful and Storyblok. He also has experience with Vercel, Netlify, Heroku, Jest, Enzyme, and Cypress for testing.

Gregory holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication & Multimedia Design from Hogeschool Rotterdam, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Engineering from the College of Multimedia. He also studied Japanese at NiCHiRAN.
